- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking Offerors to design-build a Four (4) Story pre-engineered Administration Building at the VAMC, Washington, DC. Contractor will provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supervision necessary to design-build a new pre-engineered four (4) story administration building of approximately 34,000 SF (8,480 per floor) including a hydraulic elevator to serve all four levels as well as an enclosed and conditioned four storey catwalk/pedestrian bridge between the main hospital and this structure. Cost range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. NAICS code 236220, size standard $31.0 million. This procurement is 100% set aside for SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. Place of Performance is: VA Medical Center, 50 Irving Street, NW, Washington, DC 20422. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Department of Veterans Affairs. A pre-proposal conference/site visit is scheduled for April 8, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. and April 9, 2008 at 1:30 p.m. at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 50 Irving Street, N.W. Washington, DC 20422, Room 3D-223A. Electronic solicitation documents will be made available in electronic format only through the VA???s website at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. It is recommended that you complete the solicitation mailing list on the website before downloading the solicitation. Contractors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. Sealed proposals are due to the Contracting Officer by May 8, 2008 at 3:00 PM local time (EDT). There will be no public opening. The Contracting Officer is Joan F.
