- U. S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR TOWER SPACE. Fordland, MO. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) seeks expressions of interest from owners and authorized agents of existing towers. NOAA presently has a NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) antenna at approximately 1,086.5 feet above mean level (AMSL) on a tower in Fordland, Webster County, MO, along with approximately 30 square feet (SF); and is seeking expressions of interest from owners of other towers in and around Fordland, MO for possible relocation of the antenna and equipment. The Government will consider relocation only if a move is economically advantageous. The Government will consider agency mission requirements, the cost of moving, installation of equipment, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. Occupancy would be required by July 10, 2008 and will be for a term of five years. This advertisement is not a basis for negotiation. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all expressions of interest and give consideration to properties other than those offered in response to this advertisement. AMOUNT: Position on a tower at 610? AGL for the placement of NWR property consisting of a DB Products Model 264E antenna; plus floor area in an adjacent structure for placement of a Scientific Radio System transmitter. NWR will provide and install the equipment. LOCATION: Tower must be in or around Fordland, MO. REQUIRED: Utilities and standby power are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. TERM: The lease shall be for a five years term. OWNERS & AGENTS: This is an expression of interest for available space, NOT an invitation to bid. Responses submitted by agents must be accompanied by evidence of the agent?s authority to submit an expression of interest on behalf of the tower ownership.
