- Description
- USAID/India intends to modify its current contract #386-C-00-04-00119 with The Communities Group, Inc of Washington, DC. The current ceiling of the completion type contract is $10,923,041. The intention is to increase the ceiling by $1 million to work within the same period of the existing award and for expansion of existing activities to strengthen state level intermediaries and municipal governments to access market based financing for improved water and sanitation services. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of AIDAR 706.302.70(b)(5). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement within 15 days from the date which this notice is posted. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
