- This Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is amended to extend the closing date to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26, 2008. IBM is prepared to provide all interested IBM small business resellers a bid package upon request. Interested parties should contact IBM Software Sales for a bid package. The U.S. Department of Education, Federal Student Aid intends to make an award to the Small Business that can provide annual software maintenance for existing IBM products as listed below for a period of 36 months at the lowest overall cost and provide new licenses with two optional year's software maintenance. The Period of Performance for the base year is from 4/01/08 through 3/31/09. Option Year One POP is 4/1/09 through 3/31/10. Option Year Two POP is 4/1/10 through 3/31/11. Those interested parties that have already asked the Contracting Officer for a bid list need not request the new list; it will be sent directly to the person that requested the original package. Bidders may propose two options for the bid package: One that is all inclusive of the entire bid list and one that breaks the proposal into everything except the Application Monitoring section. All other information in the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation remains the same. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (24-MAR-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
