- Description
- NASA/KSC has a requirement for software licenses. Item #1 Software licenses for GuideBuilder PSIP Generator Model# GDBR-CNT-ADOT (QTY 7). Item #2 Configuration and Training model #INST-TRNG (QTY 1). Item #3 Enhanced System Support plan model# ESSP-GDBR-CENT (QTY 7). NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Triveni Digital Inc. cage 4L8S5. The software licenses are for hardware that was purchased by Kennedy Space Center in 2007. Although the hardware was available from authorized distributors, the software is only available from the manufacturer. This purchase is for a system with closed system architecture and is not available from any other known source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on April 8, 2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". Any referenced notes may be viewed at the following URLs linked below.
