- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Research Triangle Park, NC intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Meso Scale Discovery, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 pursuant to 41 U.S.C.253(c)(1)--Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This procurement is for 1 each Cat.# 130AA-0 Sector Imager 2400. Meso Scale Discovery (MSD) is the sole manufacturer of this equipment. This instrument is required to examine cardiac injuries in rodents for cardiac troponin assays. The technology developed by MSD for evaluations of markers of cardiac injury will be performed using the plate-based, electrochemiluminescent platform along with rodent-specific antibodies.
