- Description
- NASA/LaRC has a requirement for 1EA CDAU-2016 16-Slot Box Master, 1 ea SCD-116D-2 16 Channel Signal Conditioning Card and 1 ea GSP-101A-1 GPS Conditioning Card. NASA/LaRC intends to purchase the items from Teletronics Technology Corporation who is the only known source for this equipment. This equipment has been base lined by the various projects under the Constellation Program. NASA LaRC will begin development of sensor interfacing and signal conditioning testing for the Constellation Program, therefore, an exact copy of the base lined equipment is required. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on March 27, 2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications [are/are not] acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
