- Description
- The intent of this contract is to provide and install street and area lighting at the U.S. Port of Entry, International Bridge Plaza, Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. The scope of work includes: (1) mounting four Government furnished and previously removed fixtures/poles on to a new foundation, (2) provide and install a foundation footing, anchorage bolts and base plates for each light pole and fixture, (3) provide and install three #10 wires (phase, phase and ground) in a buried PVC conduit, approximately 2? below the surface, (4) provide and install four weather rated 1000W/480V metal halide flood lights, (5) provide and install a 90? high mast lighting system, complete with an engineered foundation and all electrical conduits, wires, breakers, and connections. The performance period for this requirement is 120 days. The estimated range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. This procurement is unrestricted in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and open to all business concerns. NAICS is 238210 with a size standard of $13 million. This is negotiated, best value procurement. Proposals will be evaluated on past performance and price. The solicitation will be available on or about April 4, 2008 (actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation). A preproposal conference is tentatively scheduled for April 22, 2008 (actual information will be contained in the solicitation). The solicitation will be available for download through the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website (fedteds.gov). All interested vendors must register with FedTeDS and registration requires that the following information be provided: (1) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN), (2) DUNS Number or CAGE Code, (3) Telephone Number and (4) E-mail Address. Offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring FedBizOpps and FedTeDS for amendments and/or additional information. Proposals will be due to the General Services Administration, Grand Rapids, MI. Neither fax nor electronic proposals will be accepted. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
