- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Quantum Scientific Inc., 5938 Ambler drive, Mississauga, ON L4W 2N3, for the manufacture of fifteen (15) Collapsible Containers to store the Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) Reeling Machine on the MH-60R. The container must be able to collapse for storage when not in use. The overall height of the case is 31 inches, the length is 51.00 inches and the width 37.0 inches. The sides of the case are removable and contained inside the lower half of the container and the top is fastened with the butterfly latches. The height when collapsed can be no more than 13.75 inches and must be constructed of 0.060?-5052-H32 Rigidized Aluminum. The Valance must be Mated 6063-T5 aluminum with built-in flange. The load weight must be 150.0 lbs, and the cushioning must be able to withstand a drop of 24 inches.
