- U. S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR TOWER SPACE. Cridersville, OH (LIMA). The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) seeks expressions of interest from owners and authorized agents of existing towers. NOAA presently has a NOAA Weather Radio (NWR) antenna at approximately 650 feet above mean sea level (AMSL) on a tower, in Cridersville, OH, along with approximately 24-30 square feet (SF) of floor space in an adjacent structure for two (2) NWR transmitters, which each have dimensions of 62? high, 20.5? wide and 20.5? deep with 36? clear space in front. There shall be space on the front, back and on one side for maintenance. NWR is seeking expressions of interest from owners of other towers in and around Cridersville, OH for possible relocation of the antenna and equipment. The Government will consider relocation only if a move is economically advantageous. The Government will consider agency mission requirements, the cost of moving, installation of equipment, etc., when deciding whether it should relocate. Occupancy would be required by July 1, 2008 and will be for a five year term. This advertisement is not a basis for negotiation. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all expressions of interest and give consideration to properties other than those offered in response to this advertisement. AMOUNT: Position on a tower at 650? AGL for the placement of NWR property consisting of a 8 BAY 44 foot long PD 1500-8 antenna; plus floor area in an adjacent structure for placement of a dual 1000W Crown transmitters. NWR will provide and install the equipment. LOCATION: Tower must be in or around Cridersville, OH. REQUIRED: Utilities and standby power are to be provided as part of the rental consideration. TERM: The lease shall be for a five year term. OWNERS & AGENTS: This is an expression of interest for available space, NOT an invitation to bid. Responses submitted by agents must be accompanied by evidence of the agent?s authority to submit an expression of interest on behalf of the tower ownership.
