- 1. The Coronado National Forest, Tucson, Arizona, is soliciting quotes (RFQ) for the supply, delivery FOB Destination, and installation of a utility/service body for each of four new 2008, 4x4 pickups. Additionally, the Coronado National Forest is soliciting a quote for the installation only of a government supplied utility/service body on one new 2008, 4x4 pickup. 2. Quotes are to be submitted to Coronado National Forest, Room 5F, 300 W. Congress, Tucson, AZ 85701 or faxed to (520) 388-8332 by close of business March 24, 2008. 3. Note: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in [FAR] Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 4. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. 5. This acquisition is set-aside 100% for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811121 and the size standard is 500 employees. 6. Submit a detailed equipment list/specification with price quote for supply, delivery, and installation of the following utility/service body packages. All deliveries of supplies and services for inspection and acceptance by the Government must be FOB Destination to Coronado National Forest, 300 W. Congress, Tucson, AZ 85701 or to a site within a 20-mile radius of that address. 7. A quote may be submitted for one, any, or all of the contract line item numbers (CLINs) below. The Government anticipates multiple awards, but reserves the right to award all the CLINs to one vendor; to award a lesser quantity than the total number of CLINs listed; or to award none of the CLINs if it is in the best interests of the Government. 8. All measurements below are approximate and will need to be verified by the contractor before ordering and installation. CLIN 1, Supply and install (for Vehicle No. 8086, 2008 Ford F350, 4x4, regular cab chassis, 9200 + GVW, 60 inches cab to axle, single rear wheels) one utility service body 98 in. long by 74 in. wide by 40 in. high, w/minimum 48 in. width inside bed; aluminum diamond tread plate on top of boxes and aluminum diamond tread plate rock guards on front of boxes; long top compartment on passenger side; short top compartment on driver side; spring-loaded, or equivalent, door holders on vertical doors; flush rotary-style locks keyed alike; rear tread plate bumper; interior cabinet lights w/guards wired to marker lights; rough service mounting kit; flush mounted external marker lights (FMVSS108); mud flaps; paint service body w/2 coats to match Forest Service green cab color; mud flaps; Ford wiring harness adapter w/6-pin trailer plug; class IV receiver hitch. CLIN 2, Supply and install (for Vehicle No. 8088, a 2008 Ford, 4x4, F550 crew cab chassis; 17500 GVW, 60 inches cab to axle, dual rear wheels) one utility service body 108 in. long by 94 in. wide by 40 in. tall w/minimum 48 inch width inside bed; aluminum diamond tread plate rock guards on front; long top compartment on passenger side; short top compartment on driver side; canopy 51 inches high and wide w/double panel doors and tapered sides, weather sealed; spring-loaded, or equivalent, door holders on vertical doors; flush rotary-style locks keyed alike; paddles latches; rear tread plate bumper w/step recess; interior ceiling light and cabinet lights w/guards wired to marker lights; rough service mounting kit; flush mount external marker lights (FMVSS108); paint service body w/2 coats to match Forest Service green cab; mud flaps; Ford wiring harness adapter and 6-pin trailer plug; class IV receiver hitch. CLIN 5 , Install only (for Vehicle No. 8100, a Ford F350, 4x4, extended cab chassis, 10,000 + GVW, 60 inches cab to axle, dual rear wheels) one Government supplied Pacific utility service body 108 in. long by 94 in. wide. CLIN 5A, Vendor supply and install for CLIN 5 vehiclel: rough service mounting kit; rear tread plate bumper; mud flaps; Ford wiring harness adapter and 6-pin trailer plug; class IV receiver hitch; hook-up external marking lights; wire the interior cabinet lights to the marker lights. 9. Desired delivery date for completed installations: May 15, 2008. All applicable taxes, if any, shall be included in the quoted price. 10.
