- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation F38604-08-Q-B042 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-19 and DCN 20070828. This purchase is for use outside the U.S. and is unrestricted. The requirement is as follows: Item 1- Airport Runway Sweeper, Masco Prosweep L-3000. Qty: 1 each. FOB Destination to Al Udeid AB, Qatar. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Quotes will be evaluated on price, delivery terms, and technical acceptability. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with its offer. If the Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA) has already been completed, a statement to that affect will be sufficient. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
