- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval War College, Newport RI, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract. All items shall be Cisco brand name only. Offerers shall be Cisco authorized resellers only. No refurbished/remanufactured items are permitted. New items only. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N00124-08-Q-0210 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. Submit signed and dated offers to the office specified in this synopsis/solicitation at or before the exact time specified in this synopsis/solicitation. As a minimum, offerors must show(1) the solicitation number, (2) The time specified in the synopsis/solicitation for receipt of offers, (3) The name, address, and telephone number of the offeror, (4)Price and any discount terms, (5) A completed copy of the Representations and Certifications at FAR 52.212-3, (6)a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions and provisions included in the synopsis/solicitation, (7) Acknowledgement of Synopsis/Solicitation Amendments.
