- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICIATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. The solicitation number is N00604-08-T-0137. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24 and DFARS Change Notice 20080303. It is the contractor?s responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 423830 and the Small Business size standard is 100 employees. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns and shall be a firm fixed price contract. The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing the following: ITEM 0001: ORBIS PLASTIC PALLET (BLACK); HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE, SIZE: 40?W x 48?L x 5 ? ?H; BASE IS 4-WAY FORKLIFT & HAND TRUCK ENTRY, LOAD CAPACITY 30,000 LBS. STATIC and 4,000 LBS. DYNAMIC. Contractor to quote delivery F.O.B. Destination, Pacific Command, Camp H.M. Smith, HI 96861-4028 or include shipping as a separate line item. The following FAR provisions and clauses are applicable: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors?Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items; and DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items apply to this requirement. Offeror shall submit a completed copy o f the provisions listed above with its offer. The following clauses ap ply to the requirement: FAR 52.212-4, Contact Terms and Conditions?Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items; FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds; and DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items. The following clauses under FAR 52.212-5 apply to this requirement: FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-36 Affirmative Action for Workers with Disabilities. Includes the following clause incorporated by reference: DFARS 252.225-7001 Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program (41 U.S.C. 10a- 10d, E.O. 10582). The Government plans to award a single, firm fixed price contract resu lting from this solicitation. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the agency. Quoters must be registered in the CCR database to be considered for award. Registration is free and can be completed on-line at http://www.ccr.gov/. All quotes shall include price(s), FOB point, a point of contact name and phone number, GSA contract number if applicable, business size, and payment terms. Quotes over 10 pages in total will not be accepted by facsimile. Each response must clearly indicate the capability of the quoter to meet all specifications and requirements.
