Description
This announcement is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. The Pacific Northwest Region, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Boise, Idaho, per the authority of FAR 6.001(a) and using FAR Parts 13 procedures, intends to negotiate a non-competitive contract with Jackson County Sheriff Office, 787 W 8th Street, Medford, OR 97501-2903, for the acquisition of Security Patrol Services. This is a requirement for the Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Columbia Area Office in Bend Oregon. The NAICS Code applicable to this requirement is 561612 and the business standard as defined by the Small Business Administration is $ 17.0 million. This requirement is not set aside for small business. Additional security patrol services are required at Agate, Emigrant, Howard Prairie, Keene Creek, and Hyatt Reservoirs, Rogue River Basin Project. During the course of these additional security patrols, the enforcement of Jackson County ordinances is required, which only the Jackson County Sheriff's Office can provide. The patrol service was proposed to supplement the agreement with Jackson County Parks having oversight of recreational facilities within the Rogue River Basin Project (project) reservoir facilities. The Bend Field Office of the Lower Columbia Area Office, Talent Irrigation District, and Jackson County Parks, serving as the consolidated management team for Reclamation's project reservoirs and in cooperation with Jackson County Sheriff Office have identified a continuing need to provide additional security patrols to meet the minimum health and safety of the public from unlawful activities and to protect Government property. Although this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, questions or inquiries may be sent to arenken@pn.usbr.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
