- Description
- Furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials, to construct one livestock pipeline. There will be two bid schedules available to bid on, but only one schedule will be awarded. Schedule A consists of Trenching only with PVC or HDPE pipe. Schedule B shall include plowing only with HDPE pipe. FOR SCHEDULE A, line items are as follows:1) Mobilization, 1 Lump Sum; 2) Trenching (common) backfilling & Compacting, 14,400 Linear Feet; 3) Trenching (Rock) Backfilling & Compacting, 8000 Linear Feet; 4) PVC, Class 200, or HDPE, SDR-9 1 1/2 inch Pipe, 18,200 linear feet; 5) Schedule 40 or HDPE, SDR-7.3 1 1/2 inch pipe, 18,200 Linear Feet; 6) Curb Stop Assembly, 1 inch, 10 each; 7) Pressure Reducer Valve w/CSP, 3 each; 8) Stop and Drain Valve Assembly, 1 inch, 5 each; 9) Air Relief Valve Assembly 4405, 11 each; 10) Rubber Tire Tank Assembly, 5 each. FOR SCHEDULE B, line items consist of: 1)Mobilization, 1 Lump Sum; 2) Plowing, (Common) Backfilling & Compacting, 20,400 Linear Feet; 3) Plowing, (Rock Backfilling & Compacting, 2000 Linear Feet; 4) HDPE Pipe, SDR-9, 1 1/2 inch, 18,200 Linear Feet; 5) HDPE Pipe, SDR-7.3 1 1/2 inch, 4200 Linear Feet; 6) Curb Stop Assembly, 1 inch, 10 each; 7) Pressure Reducer Valve w/CSP, 3 each; 8) Stop and Drain Valve Assembly, 1 inch, 5 each; 9) Air Relief Valve Assembly 4405, 11 each; 10) Rubber Tire Tank Assembly, 5 each. This is set aside for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110. The Small business size standard is $31.0 million. Work under this contract is located in Powder RIver County, Montana. The contractor will have seventy three (73) calander days after Notice to Proceed is issued to complete the project. The work will start on/about May 19,2008. Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100 percent payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000. Payment Protection mus be submitted within 10 days of Notice of Award and can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond. Prospective contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Information on CCR registration can be obtained via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Contractors must register their Annual Representations and Certifications (ORCA) online at http://orca.bpn.gov. The solicitation will be posted during the week of April 1, 2008. No hard copies of the solicitation will be sent out by this office and will be available at "http://ideasec.nbc.gov". Response date for quotes will be on/about April 30, 2008. The exact closing date will be posted in the RFQ. Information regarding a Site Tour will be posted in the solicitation.
