- The Contracting Office, Sierra Army Depot, intends to award a single, firm-fixed price contract for the acquisition of the following items: Black Standard Structural Firefighting Helmet, Red Standard Structural Firefighting Helmet, Structural Firefi ghting Pant, Structural Firefighting Coat, Leather Firefighting Boots and Structural Firefighting Gloves. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 423850 a nd 100 employees respectively. The FSC Code is 8415. The solicitation will be issued as a Commercial Solicitation SF 1449, for a Firm Fixed Price type contract. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to electro nic medium. Anticipated posting of the solicitation is on or about March 19, 2008. All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation or other information. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Anticipated award date is on or about March 26, 2008.
