- Description
- The United States Government has a requirement to install Non Live-Fire (NLF) Urban Operations Sites (UOSs) to support military operations worldwide. The sites will consist of various configurable, deployable structures intended to replicate small vi llages and/or combat environments. The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive Command (TACOM) intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the procurement of UOSs. A solicitation is forthcoming and all specifica tions and requirements shall be listed therein. The guaranteed minimum order quantity resulting from this solicitation is one UOS, consisting of one LOT, UOS component structures, to be taken from a catalog of structure drawings included in the solicitatio n. The Government is in no way obligated to place any additional orders beyond this guaranteed minimum. This procurement action is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. FOB shall be Destination. Inspection and Acceptance shall be Destination. Approximate solici tation date is 09 April, 2008. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, and therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessin g the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unabl e to maintain a bidders mailing list. Interested parties must periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain the solicitation and any amendments thereto. Failure to obtain amendments and respond to them prior to the date and time set fo r receipt of offers may render offers non-responsible and result in rejection of same.
