Description

100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside; NSN: 1015-01-480-9116, PART NO.: 12592039. The item to procure is DAMPENER DISC used on the M119A1 105MM Howitzer and is made from synthetic rubber 0.02 Inches thick, Outside Diameter is 1 3.30 Inches, and Inside Diameter is 9.70 Inches. Projected to be awarded as a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ). The guaranteed minimum quantity for the Basic year is 175 with estimated between 150 to 225 quantities for years 2 through 5. The maximum quantity the Government may buy over the life of the contract is 2,500. FOB Destination. Estimated Issue Date is 08 April 2008. This IDIQ does not obligate the Government for the out years after the basic award nor does this obligate the Gov ernment for the total quantity as requirements may be reduced or increased. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that can be provided via the Internet. All or part of this action is a funded FY08 requirement. This solicitati on will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://a ais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will as any amendments thereto. The Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of prop osals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
