- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written offers (oral offers will not be accepted), on RFQ F2U1138053A001. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24 and DAC DCN 20080303. This procurement is being issued as 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 337215 and the size standard of 500 employees applies to this procurement. The requirement is for 93 custom oak lockers with melomine and wire pulls on the doors. Contractor shall be responsible for the building assembly and installation. Lockers shall be stained with the color selected by the user. A mandatory site visit will be held on 24 Mar 08. All attendees will meet at Luke Air Force Base?s South Gate at 9:00 a.m. to verify site conditions. Please e-mail ken.miller@luke.af.mil to confirm your attendance not later than 1600 PST on 21 Mar 08. Failure to attend the site visit will render your quote ineligible for consideration. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The evaluation will be based on total cost. Offerors shall include with their quotes, a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offer Representation and Certifications ? Commercial Items at website http://orca.bpn.gov.
