- Description
- Following are questions and answers regarding this RFI: 1. From what I understand, the National minimum ICU CIS requirements SOW is still in the process of being finalized and has not been released. Are you using this document instead? Or is this a preliminary National requirements document? Please advise. I would hope that given the comprehensiveness of this document, and the short time to respond, that we will not have to answer another, more "official" or "final" requirements document. This is a request for information to determine the vendor capabilities and will be used towards developing a final statement of work solicit proposals. 2. The cover letter states that vendors must use the attached Excel spreadsheet and answers must appear in the Vendor Answers section. The copy that I have does not have a Vendor Answers column. The Vendor Answers column is on the Analytics but not the other 2 spreadsheets. Vendors should add a column to the right of Element and title that column Vendor Answers. 3. Who installed the VA's VistA/CPRS hospital information system? (What vendor - Name and contact if possible). VA's Vista/CPRS is a home grown application developed by VA programmers. 4. How many modules make up the VA's VistA/CPRS hospital information system? 145 5. How many separate installations of the ICU/CIS will there be? (Number of hospitals and number of ICUs). This number has not been determined as yet. 6. Does the VA expect a complete turnkey approach? (Assumes no VA IT personnel involved). Some cases will be turnkey and others will involve some IT personnel involvement 7. Additionally, is this RFI for a specific VA Medical Center, or a specific VISN or for all VAMC's nationally? This RFI is for the benefit of all the VAMC's nationwide.
