- Description
- The FAA has a requirement for the acquisition of 15 High Voltage Switch Assemblies, NSN 5930-01-554-8034, ABB Switzerland LTD. High Current Systems PTH (ABB) part number 125K497HD01 and 15 Optical Trigger Box Assemblies, NSN 5998-01-554-8260, ABB part number 125K497H02. These assemblies are used in the Modulator Pulse Assembly in order to support the ASR-9 Radar System. The requirement is for a one-time buy with firm-fixed prices. The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with dealers of ABB Switzerland LTD. High Current Systems PTH, Born Boveri Strasse 5, Zurich, CH-8050, Switzerland in accordance with AMS Policy 3.2.2.4. A market survey was conducted in January 28, 2008, through February 11, 2008, and the results of this survey supported the determination to solicit and negotiate with only with dealers of ABB Switzerland LTD.
