- MARKET SURVEY - Planned Acquisition for up to 300 each Hoffman D-AH2001A Electric Heaters and 300 each Hoffman #SG701 Wall Mount Enclosure for the Data Collection Platform. This is a market survey to obtain up the above listed parts. The items to be purchased are brand name only - no substitutes will be accepted. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. A solicitation for this item may be posted at a later date on this website. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendors' expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set-aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest from small businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing the items listed below. These statements provide information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 332439 Containers, light gauge metal (except cans), manufacturing. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. Firms shall also submit an estimated price and/or product catalog for the part, and a proposed delivery schedule. All responses to this market survey must be received by 2:00 p.m. 7 April 2008. All submittals should be submitted via email to michelle.shaw@faa.gov. NO PHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
