- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center Carswell, Fort Worth, Texas, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 50507-011-08 to make a single award to a responsible quoter for the provision of a Test Administrator. The contractor will administer official General Educational Development (GED) tests, official GED pretests, the Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System (CASAS) tests, Tests of Adult Basic Education (TABE) Spanish and English, and other appropriate examinations in accordance with Bureau of Prisons and Federal Medical Center testing policies and procedures. It is estimated the contract will include a total of 1,134 sessions per contract year. A session is defined as a one (1) hour period. Each work day will consist of seven one-hour sessions not to exceed twenty-one (21) hours per week. The contract type is indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract period shall consist of one (1) twelve month base year and two (2) twelve month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about April 1, 2008 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All qualified sources are encouraged to submit an offer which will be considered for award. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The estimated date for receipt of offers is April 25, 2008.
