- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, California, plans to issue a Request for Quote, #RFQ61711-0016-8, for the provision of bread products (hot dog buns, hamburger buns, white and wheat bread). Due to limited storage space and perishibility of product, orders will be placed at various times during the months of APRIL, MAY, and JUNE OF 2008. The NAICS code for this requirement is 424410; There will be no size standard applied to this solicitation in order to promote competition. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.ccr.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after MARCH 19, 2008, with a due date of MARCH 27, 2008, 3:00 p.m. PST. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fbo.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
