Description
The Coast Guard seeks to award one contract for the procurement of Multi-Function Display (MFD) systems for a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods, not to exceed a total of five years. The MFD systems shall be procured as kits and must consist of a primary flight display (PFD) and a navigation display (ND) for the pilot and copilot areas of the USCG?s HC-130H digital cockpit upgrade. This requirement seeks to procure an estimated quantity of seventeen ship sets over the 5-year period, subject to the government?s continuing need and available funding. The Coast Guard also intends to procure long-term system sustainment for the five-year contractual period. The Coast Guard intends to solicit and negotiate with Innovative Systems & Support (IS&S), 720 Pennsylvania Drive, Exton, PA. MFD systems considered for this requirement must be fully compatible and fully inter-operable with the IS&S Engine Instrument Display System already utilized on the Coast Guard?s HC-130H aircraft. A commonality requirement exists for this effort: all MFD?s utilized in the final cockpit configuration must have the same part number to allow for full hardware and software compatibility and functional inter-operability among all 6 displays. For subcontracting purposes, the NAICS Code 334511 and this requirement will be satisfied using commercial acquisition procedures specified in FAR Part 12 and negotiated procedures specified in FAR Part 15. Offerors may express interest in writing to the attention of Nancy DeBerry, Contracting Officer, via fax number (252)335-6452 or by email at nancy.deberry@uscg.mil; telephone requests will not be honored.
