- Description
- The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is soliciting proposals on an Full and Open Competition. The purpose of this project is to implement and manage the Center for the Application of Prevention Technologies (CAPT) to provide specialized training and technical assistance (T/TA) to grantees of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)/ Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP), to implement all five steps and two cross-cutting principles of SAMHSA?s Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) and the accountability systems for performance measurement and management. SAMHSA/CSAP grantees include: States, Jurisdictions and Federally-recognized Tribal entities, including the multiple communities comprising these entities, supported under SAMHSA?s Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) Block Grant Program and CSAP?s Programs of Regional and National Significance (PRNS) including, but not limited to: 42 Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (SPF SIG) Program grantees; approximately 150 Minority/AIDS/HIV Prevention Initiative grantees; approximately 12 Methamphetamine Prevention Initiative grantees; and, 23 epidemiological work groups supported by SAMHSA in non-SPF SIG States.
