Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13.1 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation SECHQ1-08-Q-8086, Child Care Subsidy Program Administration is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 541611, and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. This requirement is being issued unrestricted. Quotes are due March 25, 2008 at 12:00 noon. Quotes can be e-mailed to demoskel@sec.gov or mailed to LouAnn DeMoske, Securities and Exchange Commission, Procurement & Contracts Branch, 6432 General Green Way, Stop 0-20, Alexandria, VA 22312. For additional information contact LouAnn DeMoske at (202)551-8716. Scope of Work: The contractor will administer the SEC's Child Care Subsidy Program. The SEC requires a contractor with the ability to receive a specified sum of money from the Agency and distribute it to child care providers as subsidy funds. It is anticipated that the total amount of subsidies to be distributed to licensed or regulated child care providers will not exceed $40,000. The period of performance will run from April 1, 2008-March 31, 2009 with four one year option periods to be exercised at the SEC's discretion. Contractor's are to submit the following information: A completed Schedule for Supplies/Services. Past performance documentation showing experience with contracts of similar size and scope. Provide contract numbers and agency's point of contact for each contract submitted. Technical expertise documentation showing your firm has the technical capability to perform the requirements of this contract.
