- Description
- The government is seeking quotes for the procurement of a Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC), 5-axis, high precision, Wire Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM), to include all components and equipment specified in the Statement of the Work (SOW). This shall be a turnkey installation at the Fleet Readiness Center (FRC) East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC in Bldg 83 Machine Shop. The contractor shall be responsible for removal of any existing machines that require replacement by the new machine. Any other equipment or machine tools that would impede removal/installation shall be the contractor?s responsibility. This shall include the temporarily removal of all machines and equipment and re-installation, as required, moving out the old machine/equipment and moving in the new machine to the installation site. Any machines which will be moved temporarily for installation of the new machine shall be reinstalled to the same standards as outlined in this specification. The applicable NAICS 333512 with a corresponding size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation and all information relating to this requirement will be posted at FebBizOpps. A draft specification for this requirement is scheduled to be posted on or around 21 Nov 2007 for the purpose of soliciting industry comments. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (20-NOV-2007).
