Description
1. I was hoping to find out if: PROJECT MANAGER SOLDIER WARRIOR AT FT BELVOIR VA, is a new opportunity or if there was an incumbent. If there is an incumbent on this opportunity could you please provide me with the following information: Award Date : Contract # Contractor Name: Award Amount: No incumbent; this is a new solicitation. 2. Also, is there an anticipated time frame for an RFP release? Thank you for any information you can provide. RFP Release is tentatively schedule d for Apr/May Timeframe. 3. Concerning the industry day, do you have a schedule for the briefings related to the GSS? The agenda on the web only has the PEO EIS meetings. The draft agenda is on line and is being changed. PM SWAR will make a presentation on Thurs, 17 Apr. Time TBD. 4. XXXX intends to respond to the Ground Soldier Project Requirements Sources Sought by 31 March 2008 highlighting our capability to deliver a prototype within 9 months after contract award. Can you pro vide any additional guidance on the submittal of this response, such as minimum or maximum page count and any specific content preferences? Responses to the 31 march 2008 date shall follow the following format; -NOT more than a single (1; 8.5 x 11) page vendor confirmation of capability to deliver prototype 9 months after contract award; -Absolutely no additional pages will be accepted, returned, reviewed or considered; -Content of the single sheet submiss ion, there shall be no inclusion of any cost or pricing information. The confirmation sheet shall, at a minimum be on company/corporate letterhead with a responsive point of contact and contact information and whether or not this person will be at the upco ming Industry Days 16-18 April 2008. NOTE: All Request For Information shall be published as routinely as feasible to the FEDBIZOPS synopsis and shall be part of the issued Request For Proposal for all interested in this requirement to view. 5. Also, is it your intent to develop a restricted bidders list based on these responses or will there be a subsequent market survey process to accomplish this, and if so, when might this occur? For contracting purposes, the PM is using the sou rces sought and industry day to develop a list of bidders and to gather information to help the PM refine the requirement. When an RFP is released it will be open to all bidders with the capabilities described within the announcement. 6. Lastly, i s the Government accepting requests for meetings and briefings from industry in advance of or after the industry day and how will industry go about scheduling these? Relevant meetings and/or briefings will be scheduled and conducted as required in d irect conjunction with release of the Request For Proposals. 7. The Fed Biz Ops announcement noted that PMs from both PEO EIS and PEO Soldier would be in attendance and presenting. However, the draft agenda only lists presenters from PEO EIS. Is the PEO Soldier and his PMs involved in this event and will they be included in the agenda? Yes, PEO Soldier, Project Manager Soldier Warrior, Product Manager Ground Soldier and Deputy Product Manager Mounted Soldier System are involved. The draft agenda is on line and is being changed. PM SWAR will make a presentation on Thurs, 17 Apr. Time TBD. 8. XXXX is interested in the 6th Annual AFCEA Belvoir Industry Days of April 16-18, 2008 with PEO EIS/Soldier. Will appreciate receiving informat ion per the registration process and, if available, prospective industry participants so that we can prepare appropriately.
