- Description
- The NETCOM/9th Signal Command (Army) has a requirement for nonpersonal services for local telephone exchange services for Raven Rock Mountain Complex, PA (Services from Maryland). The proposed contract is for a base year with four one-year options. The local exchange services provider, certified by the state of Maryland, shall provide local commercial communications service for Raven Rock , which shall include, as a minimum but not limited to, local access for commercial subscriber lines, digital ac cess trunks, local exchange digital (ISDN PRI) trunks, transport channels, foreign exchange trunks and directory number and number portability. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered. Sources responding to this requirement m ust indicate in writing, whether they are a large, small, disadvantaged and /or women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC code 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees NAICS 517110. This requirement shal l be a commercial, fixed price type contract. Solicitation is anticipated to be released on or about 21 March 08 The solicitation can be viewed and downloaded from the Army Single Face to Industry(ASFI) Acquisition Business Website. The Government will conduct a preproposal conference and site visit on 3 April at 09:00, Raven Rock Mountain Complex, PA, It is recommended that prospective offerors attend this conference. The conference will be from 09:00 10:00 PM (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 10:00 11:00 PM. This conference will be held in conjunction with the pre-proposal conference for Solicitation W91RUS-08-R-0008, Raven Rock Mountain Complex, Pennsylvania . Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the Contracting Officer listed below, in writing, of all attendees names (not to exceed three per company, prior to 31 March 08. An e-mail response to duane.markham@us.army.mil or jack.neece@us.army. mil is acceptable. Questions prior to the conference must be received before 1 April 08. Questions generated as a result of the preproposal conference must be sent to duane.markham@us.army.mil, by 16 April 08. Directions and security requirements will b e sent to only those individuals who have confirmed their attendance with the Contracting Officer.
