- 66?SERVICES NON-PERSONAL , OVERHAUL - Rate Gyros. FD2030-08-01201, FA8103-08-R-0280. The contractor shall provide all labor, facilities, equipment and ALL MATERIAL to accomplish overhaul, test, packing, preservation and packaging and return to the government in accordance with the work specifications contained in the contract, the items of Air Force Equipment listed below. A Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract is contemplated for a Basic Year plus four (4) One-Year Options. The items and Estimated Quantities are as follows: CLIN 0001: NSN 6615-00-472-6344; P/N 15831-2-B; Noun: Rate Gyro; APPL: E-3 Acft; Estimated Qty Basic Year: 9 ea; Opt. I, 9 ea; Opt. II, 9 ea; Opt. III, 9 ea; Opt. IV, 9 ea. Deliveries are to be made at the rate of 1 each per month beginning 30 days ARO and Reparables. Ship To addresses will be provided when serviceable assets are ready to be shipped. Item Dimensions: H 4.125? W 6.0? D 8.125?. Item Weight: 7.5 lbs. Item Material: Non-corrosive alloys. Item Function: Three-axis rate control, component of the PB 20 Automatic Flight Control System. The unit is an electrically driven gyro control. CLIN 0002: OVER AND ABOVE WORK AS REQUIRED. CLIN 0003: DATA REPORTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH DD FORM 1423?S. The approximate issue date of the solicitation will be 1 Apr 08. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 1 May 08. The anticipated award date will be 6 Jun 08. Qualification Requirements do apply. Otto Instruments (9D113) and Airtronics Incorporated (58078) are the only known responsible sources with the data, expertise, tooling and test equipment required for the overhaul of these items to Government specifications. Award may include options. No telephone request. Only written or faxed request received directly from the requestor are acceptable.
