- AMENDMENT 0002: THIS REQUEST FOR QUOTATION IS HEREBY CANCELLED. ////This synopsis/solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a paper solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number 08-Q-E005992 shall be referenced on any price quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23 Effective 01/25/2008. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This RFQ is being conducted as a 100% small business set aside. The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) has a requirement for the following items: 0001: Qty: 35 Description: 17? monitors and base computers optiplex 755 small form factor. Salient Characteristics: 1. Acceptable input voltage 110 to 240 VAC, 120 VAC nominal. 2. 80G hard drive, minimum requirement. 3. CD RW/DVD burner with software, internal preferred. If provided externally, a USB connector is required. 4. USB keyboard and mouse 5. Input Frequency 50-60 Hz, 60Hz nominal. 6. 4 USB ports 7. VGA connector 8. Ethernet 10/100 port 9. Approximate height 12.5 inches. (NOTE - dimensions are for reference and it is understood that no standard exists for ?Small Form Factor? for physical size. 10. Approximate width 3.5 inches. (NOTE - dimensions are for reference and it is understood that no standard exists for ?Small Form Factor? for physical size). 11. Approximate depth 13.5 inches. (NOTE - dimensions are for reference and it is understood that no standard exists for ?Small Form Factor? for physical size). 12. Operating system shall be Microsoft XP Home Addition. 13. 512MB SDRAM, minimum requirement. 14. Non-duocore processor acceptable, with a minimum of 1GHz or better. 15. Monitor required: 17? flat screen. Please include your company?s shipping terms in the quote. Any shipping costs that will be applied to this requirement shall be included in the quote. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 334111 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The Government will award a firm fixed price purchase order resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror to the responsible offeror whose offer is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, considering technical acceptability and price. The Government is not responsible for locating or securing any information, which is not identified in the quotation, but may do so at its discretion. Award is anticipated within two to three weeks after receipt of quotes. Please carefully review the commercial item FAR clauses for information about requirements and instructions for submitting a quotation. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offeror- Commercial Items (SEP 2006); FAR provision 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (JAN 1999). The Government reserves the right to award without discussions; therefore, it is critical that each quote be fully responsive. However, the FBI also reserves the right to conduct discussions, if later determined to be necessary. The RFQ number 08-Q-E005992 and must be placed on all quotes in the subject heading of the electronically submitted quote. This contract will be awarded as a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Parts 12 and 13. All contractors anticipating award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database website. All offerors shall submit a completed Acquisition Risk Questionnaire and a completed KMPL Form to be considered for award.
