- The Army Contracting Agency at Fort Polk, Louisiana will issue an Invitation For Bids (IFB), 100% small business set aside with intent to award a firm-fixed price requirements contract for all labor, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, an d other items necessary to provide delivery, relocation, pick-up and service of government-owned portable chemical latrines, including five (5) ADA compliant latrines, under all weather conditions at Fort Polk, Louisiana military reservation, special limit ed use areas of Kisatchie National Forest, Peason Ridge/Horses Head Area, and within the civilian community that is in a thirty (30) mile radius of the Range Control Building. The contractor will be responsible for repairs of Government-owned latrines an d trailers. Also, they will be responsible for the disposal of waste. Performance shall be in strict accordance with the specifications and current federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, and regulations. The contractor shall be licensed with the St ate Department of Health and Human Resources in accordance with Chapter 13; Louisiana State Sanitary Code dated 20 May 87, as amended. Services will be from 01 Feb 2008 to 31 Jan 2009. This IFB contains an option clause to extend the contract for four on e-year periods. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 562991 with a small business size of $6.5m. Only bids from small businesses concerns will be considered for award. This IFB has an approximate issue date of 5 Dec 2007 and approximate due date of 21 Dec 2007. No telephone, faxed, or emailed bids will be accepted. The solicitation and any amendments will be posted and available for view and download at http://www.jrtc-polk.army.mil/doc in addition to ASFI. Interested parties should review their Com mercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR). The contractor must have the capability to submit payment requests using the following electronic form: Wide Area WorkFlow-Receipt and Acceptance ( WAWF-RA).
