- This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division plans to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Lockheed Martin, 459 Kennedy Drive, Archibald, PA 18403, with a ceiling amount of $2,500,000.00. The BOA will cover a five year period and include line items for various components for the Dual Mode Laser Guided Bomb (DMLGB). This requirement will be negotiated on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Delivery is required FOB Destination. All drawings and specifications for the DMLGB are proprietary to Lockheed Martin and are not available from the government to be provided for this procurement. The solicitation will be made available on or about 31 March 2008 at the following address: FedBizOps http://www.fbo.gov/, and the Crane website at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/synopcom.htm. No hard copies of the solicitation wi ll be mailed. Interested sources must download from the www sites listed. Offer must be submitted in the format specified in the solicitation. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on ?Submit Bid? does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of the offeror to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane.
