- This procurement is for Liebert Corporation Preferred Service Maintenance Plan for eight (8) Liebert Power Distribution Modules (PDM) at Naval Facilities Engineering Command Information Technology Center (NITC) , Port Hueneme, CA for a base period of 12 months and four 12-month option periods not to exceed 60 months. Maintenance plan to include parts coverage and preventative maintenance at the customers convenience, guaranteed 4-hour response time, 24/7 emergency service labor and travel coverage, and 1 (800) Liebert customer response center. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. N62583-08-T-0043 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provi sions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-24. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Information Technology Center (NITC) provides enterprise information systems necessary to support the command?s mission. As the command?s technology center, NITC is responsible for delivering clean power to the information systems necessary to support naval facilities worldwide. NITC has a network infrastructure that utilizes Liebert Power Distribution Units (PDU). These units are needed to provide power to the NITC network. No security clearance required. No data on this task is subject to Privacy Act. 5.2 PERSONAL SERVICES. The client representative has been briefed on the avoidance of personal services and those actions that represent personal services. The client has determined that the use of the purchase order placed to satisfy the requirements of this task order is not being used to procure services prohibited by Subpart 37.1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). 5.3 GOVERNMENT REVIEW. The client representative shall formally review and inspect work for compliance with the SOW and associated proposals and to accept or reject data deliverables in a timely manner. Deliverables are required on the dates specified below: Deliverables (if applicable): The deliverable products shall be determined by need and based on issue submitted by NITC staff on an ad hoc basis. 6.0 SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS. Travel costs are at the expense of authorized resellers of Liebert Corporation. The schedule for this effort shall be defined by final contract approved by NITC management and agreed to by a representative of authorized resellers of Liebert Corporation. FAR Provisions 52.212-1 and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items applies. Evaluation criteria will be technical capabilities, price, past performance. Offerors are to include a completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
