- THIS IS NOT A SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. THIS RFP IS OPEN TO BOTH LARGE AND SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. AWARD WILL BE PROCESSED UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, Lakewood, Colorado is requesting proposals from qualified and eligible firms capable of furnishing all labor, equipment required to replace a water control structure and rehab dike. Place riprap and road aggregate. Includes associated earthwork and dewatering. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The total performance is 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. This acquisition is open to both large and small business concerns. The NAICS code is 238120 and small business size standard is $13.0 Million. The solicitation package is anticipated to be available electronically on/or about March 28, 2008 with an anticipated closing date of April 28, 2008. A payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit will be required. Offerors/Quoters not providing a payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit may not be considered for contract award. Past Performance and Experience will be considered aproximately equal as to Price. Copies of the Request for Proposal, specifications and drawings can be obtained at www.fbo.gov once available for issuance.
