- The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The intended source is Machine Technologies (Matech), 27120 Ocean Gateway, Heb ron, MD 21830-1041. The item to procure is a Back Up Iron Sight, NSN 1005-01-484-8000, P/N 12996812 M4, M4A1 and M16A4. Quantity 60,000. The resulting award will be a one time, Firm Fixed Price type contract. FOB Destination. Matech is the curre nt producer and can meet required abbreviate delivery schedule required by increased demand. A recently awarded competitive long term contract will meet future demands. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
