- DESC: Brake Assemblies, Manual (Right Hand, NSN 1025-01-247-8647, PN 12009343) (Left Hand, NSN 1025-01-247-8648, PN 12009344). The items to procure are Brake Assemblies, Manual, used on the M198 Towed Howitzer. Assemblies consist of (2) angle plat es, rod end, adjusting yoke, clevis pins, (2) plates, torsion spring, linkage rod assy, limiter, bracket, socket, spacer, (2) brake pad assemblies. Requires steel castings and cadium finish. Requirements are 66 each NSN 1025-01-247-8647 and 30 each NSN 1 025-01-247-8648. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 1 Apr 2008. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FA R 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided.
