- Description
- Provide charter bus transportation from Camp Buckner, West Point, NY to Fort Knox, KY and return trips. Each trip is to transport approximately 380 individuals which would require 7 buses plus one empty bus to trail each convoy. There are four (4) trips from West Point, NY to Fort Knox, KY scheduled for 7 July; 11 July; 15 July; and 19 July 2008 and four (4) trips from Fort Knox, KY to Camp Buckner, West Point, NY scheduled for 10 July; 14 July; 18 July; and 22 July 2008. The bus company actually u tilized must be an approved carrier by the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO). The offeror must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and be registered at the ORCA website (Online Representations and Certifications Application). Bus es used must have a minimum capacity of 55 seats. Buses must also be equipped with A/C, Restroom, and TV/VCR. The actual solicitation will contain complete specifications. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 485510 with a size standard of $ 6.5 million. Request for Quotations W911SD-08-T-0100 will be issued approximately 19 March 2008 with offers due by 10 April 2008. Copies of the solicitation may be requested from Kevin M.
