Description
The VAMC, Denver, CO intends to negotiate sole source with Olympus America Incorporated of Centerville, Pennsylvania to provide a one (1) year with (four) 4 option years preventative maintenance and repair contract for a 47 piece Narrow Band Imaging Endoscopy Suite. Requirements shall include, but not be limited to: 1) Inspecting and testing to see if all of the equipment to determine if any repair or maintenance is required or recommended for the equipment. 2) Annual Preventative maintenance for Olympus SSD and DSD Endoscope Disinfectors 3) 4 hour maximum response time to requests for assistance, via telephone, on-site, or, if required for off-site troubleshooting and/or repair, temporary replacement with loaner specialty equipment. 4) All parts and labor required to complete the repair to the manufacturer's then-current specifications. By procuring the maintenance and repair of a state-of-the-art imaging system from the manufacturer of that system, the VA will be able to maintain the best level of operation for a high dollar, hard use medical suite with proprietary Narrow Band Imaging, assuring cradle-to-grave continuity of maintenance tied to equipment warranty, thus enabling the them to provide the most effective care for their patients. Interested offerors may identify their interest and capability to meet the requirements by providing a capability statement and qualification which must contain specific information on supplying this type of service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capability statements received within 7 business days after the submission date of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
