- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center intends to issue a solicitation requesting bids to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision to complete the Human Resources Office Project in accordance with solicitation specifications. Work shall include building of new walls, provision and installation of doors, hardware, painting, carpet installation, lighting, ceiling installation, electrical, and mechanical work as shown on drawings. A complete Statement of Work will be included in the solicitation document that will be available on Fedbizopps on or about April 1, 2008. Interested parties are encouraged to attend a site visit on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. EDST. Contractors shall contact the Contracting Officer to indicate their interest in attending the walk through. Requests, in the form of an e-mail message to patricia.fox2@va.gov, shall be received by the Contracting Officer no later than Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Bid opening will be held Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 3:00 pm EDST in the Facilities Conference Room B5371. This procurement is 100% set aside for service-disabled, veteran-owned, small business (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is 236220. The SDVOSB size standard for this procurement is $31 million dollars in average gross annual receipts for the preceding three years.
