Description
UPDATE: The full Request for Offers (RFO) for this project is now available as a download from this website in Adobe Acrobat Reader format (.pdf). It includes a detailed Scope of Work, contract clauses, and requirements for submitting an offer. - This project is intended for exclusive competition among SEDB/(8a) vendors. - Estimated value: Between $50,000 and $100,000. SUMMARY: SCOPE OF WORK. The contractor shall provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to accomplish in general the following items. - Provide professional services to review and comment on the Abatement Contractor's Asbestos Abatement Plan. - Develop air-monitoring plans for the asbestos abatement project. - Attend and participate in on-site meetings, such as the after award coordination meeting, preconstruction meeting and weekly meeting, as required throughout the project. - Provide analysis of air samples. - Provide professional services to accomplish full-time site inspection of asbestos removal activities, including daily written reports of such activities. - Maintain daily activity logs. - Provide 24-hour pressure differential alarm monitoring. - Collect bulk samples at the direction of the COTR/RE. - Provide consultation pertaining to representative personal air monitoring of FAA employees by a CIH in the event of a Facility Asbestos Abatement Contingency Plan is implemented. - Provide a comprehensive Final Report. Notice to Proceed (NTP) will take place between approximately April 1 to June 30, 2008. Project Duration is approximately 150 calendar days.
