- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Request for Quotes (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RFQ number is AG-4101-S-08-0004 is issued as a Request for Quotation and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-24. This is a total small business set aside with a business size of $4.5 million. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-2, FAR 52.212-4, and FAR 52.212-5 apply to this solicitation. The Department of Agriculture, Natural Resources Conservation Service, Alabama State Office intends to make one firm fixed price award for soil mapping consisting of 25,000 acres in Washington County, Alabama in MLRA 133A, Southern Coastal Plain. Services are to be completed within 210 days after date of award.
