- Description
- Road 1900 and South Fork Tieton Road Stabilization. Okanogan & Wenatchee National Forests, Naches Ranger District, Yakima and Kittitas Counties, Washington. The purpose of these two projects is as follows. Road 1900 Stabilization requires the placement of logs with attached root balls in stream banks and repositioning logs within wetted perimeter of the stream. The work includes the loading and transport of logs from multiple locations as well as single tree locations along the access road. South Fork Tieton Road Stabilization is for the removal of culvert embankments, stabalizing slide material, and re-establishing drainage on flood damaged roads. The equipment requirements for these projects include hydraulic excavator, rubber-tired skidder, Log load and haul equipment. All in-stream work shall be performed between July 15 and September 1. The contract period of performance for other than in-stream work is between June 1 and September 30, 2008. This project is 100% set-aside for small business concerns.
