- Description
- This modification to the synopsis is issued to correct the Buildings numbers from 1 and 12 to Building numbers 1 and 22. The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System anticipates the award of a firm-fixed-price contract to provide Design/Build services to include preparation of reports, plans, specifications, cost estimates, construction period services, and construction services for caulking, sealing, painting, porch repairs, repair of roof overhangs, repair of exterior walls, repair doors, repair windows, and repair terracotta tiles for Buildings 1 and 22, Bay Pines, FL. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $1,000,000.00 and $2,000,000.00. The solicitation will be issued on or about 22 January 2008 and proposals will be due on or about 21 February 2008. THIS ACQUISITION IS SET-ASIDE 100% TO ELIGIBLE SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS (SDVOSB). An organized pre-proposal site visit will be conducted. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web-site at www.fbo.gov. No hardcopies will be available. Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Proposals will be evaluated on technical, price, and past performance. Construction performance period is 240 calendar days. The applicable North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 and the size standard is $31 million.
