Description
The synopsis has been changed to clarify the requirements. Additionally, the following information is provided: There is an incumbent for this requirement. The contractor is SIRSI Dynix Inc. The contractor will provide ILS services through September 30, 2008. Interested vendors please submit a capability statement by the closing date of this synopsis. This acquisition is not expected to exceed $75,000. The Contractor shall provide the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) with a web-based integrated library system (ILS) designed to meet the core functionality requirements of the SEC Library, including cataloging, circulation, interlibrary loan, serials control, and acquisitions. The cataloging module shall provide the capability to create new records, edit records, and download and import MARC records. The ILS shall support web-enabled customized databases, text and images, full text indexing, and keyword/author/title/subject searches. The ILS will be available for searching by 5,000 SEC staff and contractors nationwide. Only library staff (up to 10 simultaneous users) will have administrative rights to use the ILS. Approximately 100 concurrent users should be sufficient for searching the ILS. The ILS shall be an open system with an XML API and the ability to export data at any time in a variety of formats, including MARC and XML. The ILS must be based on SQL Server or Oracle. The ILS must be a commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) or Government off-the-shelf (GOTS), state-of-the-art, customizable product. The Contractor shall provide installation, configuration, conversion, loading, and customization support sufficient to meet the SEC library?s core functionality requirements, as well as testing and confirmation of the loaded data. In addition, the Contractor shall provide informal training to library staff. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (15-FEB-2008).
