- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, N00173-08-R- KK03, is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-23 and DFARS Change Notice 20080124. The associated small business size standard is 500 employees. NRL has a requirement for a Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) system for Oxides (CLIN 0001). Option Items for CLIN 0001 include Additional Ports (CLINS 0002 through 0007), an Aluminum Effusion Source (CLIN 0008), Aluminum Effusion Cell Shutter (CLIN 0009), Aluminum Effusion Source Power Supplies (CLIN 0010), Aluminum Effusion Source Temperature Controllers (CLIN 0011), Residual Gas Analyzer System (CLIN 0012), RHEED Electron Gun (CLIN 0013), Quartz Crystal Rate Monitor (CLIN 0014), Sample Wafer Holders (CLIN 0015), a Spare Parts Kit (CLIN 0016), and System Automation (CLIN 0017).Offerors may propose on any or all of the option items Any option items, if exercised, may be exercised at any time up to nine months after the date of the initial award.
