Small Business Set-Aside: Total HUB-Zone
Description: The National Park Service is seeking a contractor to perform conservation treatment services to the General George B. McClellan Memorial located in Northwest, Washington, D.C. The work involves conducting an initial condition assessment of the statue, conservation treatment consisting of bronze and stone cleaning, heat-applied waxing of the bronze and patinating to bring the bronze to an even and protected finish and production of a report including replication of elements, resetting selected steps, narrative and images describing the conditions found, missing pieces, work performed and recommendations for future treatment and maintenance practices. The work shall commence late spring 2008. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $200,000. The applicable NAICS code is 711510 with an associated size standard of $6.5 million. This procurement is a HUBZone Small Business set-aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Chapter 19.1305. The Government shall set-aside all procurements with a total contract dollar threshold over $100,000 to be set-aside for HUBZone category. This procurement is 100-percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. To confirm if your firm is a HUBZone small business concern, go to the Small Business Administration's website at www.sba.gov and look for HUBZone category. You may check if you qualify by typing in your address into the entry, "To Determine if an Address is Located in a HUBZone." If your firm is located within a HUBZone, you must certify your company with the Small Business Administration. Your company's name must be included on the Small Business Administration's listing at the time when offers are due to be considered as a HUBZone smalll business for your proposal to be evaluated under the small business HUBZone set-aside. However, if this office does not receive any acceptable proposals from qualified HUBZone concerns, the set-aside will roll over to a 100-percent set-aside for small business. However, if this office does not receive any acceptable proposals from qualified, small business concerns, the set-aside will roll over to a 100-percent for large business concerns.
