- Description
- The Great Plains Regional Contracting Office has a requirement for the non-personal services of two (2) Full-time Equivalent (FTE) Neurological Surgeons for Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The base period of performance is on/ab out 1 June 2008 through 30 September 2008, plus four (4) one-year option periods (through 30 September 2012). This requirement will be solicited on a full and open basis. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 621111, Offices of Physicians (Except Mental Health Specialists). The Small Business Administration's size standard for NAICS 621111 is $9.0 million. Multiple awards are contemplated. Any neurological surgeon that provides services under any resulting contract shall b e required to possess and maintain an active, valid, and otherwise unencumbered medical license issued by the state of Texas for the length of service. The solicitation number is W81K00-08-R-0013. The solicitation will be available on/about 26 Marc h 2008 at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_search_form.cfm) and FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov). Prospective offerors advised that if tentatively selected for award, they must register with the Centr al Contractor Registration database (www.ccr.gov) and obtain a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code prior to any award being made. Award will be made on/about 23 April 2008. Paper copies of this solicitation will not be issued, and telephone and faxed requests for the solicitation will not be honored.
